THE VOICE OF TAMPA INDIE FILM

TAMPA FILMMAKERS

This is the official Tampa Bay Film directory for Tampa filmmakers. Although filmmakers listed here are reviewed in synopsis form, there will be links to filmmaker profiles on Tampa Bay Film, which, in turn, will link to their film reviews.
The point of this entire section is to serve as a reference for investors who wish to evaluate Tampa filmmakers before producing their films.
All information presented here regarding indie filmmakers, and reviews, are opinions. Please use this information as reference, only, and take a look at their work so that you can form your own opinion before working with any Tampa filmmaker.
Filmmakers are scored from 1 (worst) to 10 (best) in their synopsis reviews. These scores are the opinion of Tampa Bay Film and the author.

Chris Woods: 9
In our opinion, Chris Woods is the best independent filmmaker in the Tampa Bay area. Chris Woods has a long track record of making really good films with minimal resources. Chris Woods’ latest short film, Spaventare, is the best short film ever made in the Tampa Bay indie film market, and is one of the first to prove that great films can be done for next to nothing (Spaventare has a budget of less than $30.00, had a cast of two, and a crew of three). Other great films from Chris Woods include To Live Is To Die, Sever, and Bleed.

Paul Guzzo: 7
Paul Guzzo has proven himself to be a good filmmmaker, even if his films are stuck in a gangster genre.

Pete Guzzo: 8

Joe Davison: 2

Marcus Koch: 6

Shelby Mcintyre: 8

Andy Lalino: 9

Andrew Allan: 9

Richard R. Anasky: 8

Jon Wolding: 8

Rick Danford: 6

Rod Grant: N/A (No referenced films)

C. A. Passinault: N/A (No films completed)

Craig Kovach: 3

Nolan Canova: 2
(Dead Red - Milk Crate Scars)

Terence Nuzum: 1
(Thought Crimes - Milk Crate Scars)
Perhaps the worst filmmaker in Florida.

Vinnie Blesi: 1
(Noir Geek - Milk Crate Scars)
