Raptor Class Web site by EOS MediaArts, a Tampa Bay advertising agency and Passinault.Com company.

Raptor Class site 001.

Commissioned 01.18.06. Some content, site file structure, and code based on the original Tampa Bay Modeling site launched 10.18.04. Site Art Director And Code Architect: C. A. Passinault.

This is the prototype Raptor Class web site designed and commissioned by the EOS MediaArts web team. The site was completed and launched on Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at 9AM EST.

Raptor Class sites are designed for quick navigation to relevant content, enhanced model scam combat operations, industry rate regulation, professional regulation of the model photography services industry, and image marketing for contributing professional photographers. The site is optimized to fight misconceptions in the modeling industry and is aimed squarely at the Tampa Bay market, but the information and tools are effective throughout the industry. Raptor Class sites employ the latest search engine optimization (SEO) technology, and use primary CSS templates and dynamic HTML to provide a content-frame delivery interface without employing frames. Raptor Class web sites can be recognized by their mouse-over menus on the left, title bar on the top, a series of fourteen image thumbnails below that, and a section title under the thumbnails. Main images are displayed to the right, and DHTML content is next to the main menu stack on the left. Text links and banners are underneath. Raptor Class sites are named after birds of prey for their aggressive and fighting nature; Raptor Class sites are engineered to be the most effective model scam fighting sites in the world.

About the Tampa Bay Modeling Raptor Class site.

This Raptor Class site is optimized to help regulate industry rates in the Tampa Bay market, and retains several experimental features, such as the successful reverse auction system for modeling industry services. It features an opinion section, which is formatted much like a blog with posts from the models on our staff, and a new-generation mail bag formatted in the same way with refined data organization and cross-reference capabilities. One big addition is the inclusion of pictures in the new design, which serves to help models and photographers market themselves as the pictures are used throughout the Tampa Bay Modeling site. The site can easily facilitate the addition of pictures. A series of micro-thumbnail buttons over the section headers will highlight the newest added images, which leads directly to an online portfolio section. The site hosts articles and other exclusive content, as well as Tampa Bay market optimized versions of material already hosted on sites like Independent Modeling. This will be the second site to feature the ongoing modeling series Born Beautiful, which is about the adventures of Tampa Bay freelance model Cameron Passinault. The versions of the Born Beautiful episodes on Tampa Bay Modeling will have new additions exclusive to the site, too! This site also features model stories and anecdotes, as well as tutorials and interactive tutorials originally developed by Independent Modeling.
The reverse auction system has been improved to include businesses and photographers who want to have models or each other bid for services, balancing out the process and enhancing negotiations. The newest additions to the reverse auction bidding system does not depend on our message boards, either, and can be set up on any message board forum on the Internet.
Tampa Bay Modeling will be working with leading model resource site Independent Modeling and the upcoming Advanced Model to help models and professionals in the modeling industry this year. It will tackle modeling geographically, addressing the industry in the Tampa Bay market and central Florida. Allies at Independent Modeling are a top modeling resource on a state and national level, and Advanced Model will be an industry and world-wide resource and online magazine addressing the Independent Freelance Modeling movement as well as the old, agency-based modeling industry.

The Tampa Bay Modeling web site was originally launched on October 18, 2004. Originally, Tampa Bay Modeling was a simple geographically-marketed modeling resource site designed to service the modeling industry in Tampa Bay. The site was influenced and assisted by popular modeling resource site Independent Modeling, which at that time was effectively slugging it out with model scams and was instrumental in decimating several known scams. The Tampa Bay Modeling site had experimental features and a message board back-end. The site was very docile with its original mission and did not have any negative commentary or model scam fighting capabilities, although a lot of the original content was intended to help models with regulating model portfolio photography and modeling industry rates, in particular.

On January 18, 2006, this new Raptor Class Tampa Bay Modeling site launched. The new site was optimized to fight industry misconceptions and fight scams. As Independent Modeling was reformatted to promote talent and become the ultimate career and industry resource, much of the advanced scam fighting technology and the more controversial tools developed by them was licensed to us. Old features like the message board were discontinued.

Tampa Bay Film site template and site directories refreshed on 11/09/09. Chris Woods power!

This Tampa indie film resource web site is dedicated to Tampa filmmaker Chris Woods, who is, in our opinion, the most talented and skilled Tampa filmmaker. His short indie film, Spaventare, filmed in Tampa Bay in early 2009, is a new benchmark for Tampa filmmaking; expect a lot of Tampa indie films in the future to follow the example set by this groundbreaking film. Not only is Spaventare, in our opinion, the best short Tampa indie film ever made, it proves that great films can be made on small budgets. Spaventare was done for less than $30.00, with a crew of three and a cast of two. Check it out on our online film festival by clicking on the link in this paragraph!
